Chicken Sticks with Berriyaki Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast meat cut into 1" wide by 2" long pieces
1/4 cup mirin (Japanese cooking wine)
1 T dark sesame seed oil
4 T Berriyaki Sauce
Cooking spray
8-10 wooden skewers
TO DO:
Soak wooden skewers in water for about 20 minutes
Spray grill with non-stick cooking spray
Heat grill up to medium high
In a large bowl mix together mirin, sesame oil and chicken pieces; toss gently and let sit for 5 minutes
Thread chicken pieces with wooden skewers
Place skewered chicken on heated, sprayed rack
Grill 4 minutes on each side or until done
Plate skewers
Drizzle with Berriyaki Sauce if additional sauce is desired serve with a small bowl with additional sauce
